Wheel Clamping
With more and more vehicles on the roads than ever before and a poor public transport system if you provide parking for staff, customers, visitors etc, it has become a burden beyond belief. We at Parking Control Services will relieve those pressures simply, professionally and cost effectively, allowing you to concentrate on what you do best - your business.
Wheel clamping is a sensitive issue and our aim is to always ensure that the motorist is clearly informed of the parking restrictions by using large clear prominently located warning signs displaying the restrictions.
We strive to ensure the offenders are treated professionally and fairly (we have an Appeals & Complaints Procedure), to achieve this all our staff have completed a BTEC Level 2 Award in Vehicle Immobilisation & Conflict Management and are currently licensed with the SIA as required by law.
Ticketing
If you are landowner or an authorised person acting on behalf of such (i.e. tenant),
and suffer from motorists abusing your land whereby you would like to control who gets penalised - then "Ticketing" is for you.
You will find that as you are on site more often than a wheel-clamping unit you have better control and no mistakes are made, as you will often recognise the offending vehicles.
You will find this service not only is ethical, lawful, cost effective but very efficient in deterring and eliminating illegal parking.
You will also receive £10 inc VAT compensation fee for every paid Fixed Penalty Notice.
It is worth noting that the system may not be quite as effective or as fast in eradicating your parking abuse, but it is certainly more socially acceptable than wheel clamping and gives you total control of who gets penalised and fined. Should your parking area be in the South of England you can always implement wheel clamping at a later date through ourselves, as we have a wheel clamping division, if
the need arises, so therefore the best of both worlds.
On-Site Parking Officers
This is a dedicated service to car park owners and is often used by retail parks, supermarkets, etc where there is a maximum stay period allowed when using the facilities.
The need for this has greatly increased where many retail parks and supermarkets with parking are now located within our town and city centres, close to train stations and other places of employment. This then results in motorists often using the free parking spaces at such sites all day while at work or commuting, therefore taking spaces for your valuable customers.
This service offers the client the opportunity to receive compensation payments from the offending vehicles at the rate of 50% of the Fixed Penalty Notice value (which is dictated by yourself, usually £60.00).
The use of a dedicated Car Park Officer to issue Parking Tickets is much more socially acceptable method of parking control, rather than wheel clamping and, because of high visibility of the Parking Officer and the issuing of Parking Tickets, it is most successful.
Vehicle Removal
Opium Vehicle Immobilisation operate a removal and storage service that is an optional level of parking enforcement, it is used to remove vehicles from obstructing entrance/exits to buildings, car parks or remove vehicles that have been left unattended for a considerable amount of time.
We offer this service 24 hours a day 7 days a week at No Charge!!
We use tow trucks to remove any vehicles left unattended without permission, meaning that access is not an issue. We are also fully insured through public liability insurance.
